Yes, the death penalty is in the game, according to the interview with the NCAA producer on the EA web site. I was surprised to read that. He mentioned it but provided no details.

What would be GREAT is if you were a 6 star coach and your team got the death penalty and it dropper YOUR coaching rating to like 1 star. Then if you wanted to get out you could only go to a bad team. I think that would add realism. Otherwise you could just jump ship!

Jistic, that would be great...you all think the death penelty is going to stay in the game? Just optimistic, because at this time last yr, tearing down the goal post was still in too.

I guess taking that celebration out is a lot easier then taking out something that effects a whole dynasty?

Think right before NCAA released NCAA made them take that out and delayed the release like 3 weeks...LOL maybe someone will have nightmares from the thought of it.

They made them take it out about 9 weeks before it came out... did not delay the release at all... if I remember correctly it was right after they announced goalposts be able to come down would be in the game it was taken out.

I'm guessing after that ridiculous goalpost fiasco EA learned its lesson and got everything approved from the NCAA beforehand, especially something this controversial, before implementing it and announcing that it's in the game.
If not, somebody at EA definitely needs to be smacked.
