ok i just got done chatting with "rajat" from ea sports support. They told me they did not close the servers down and that we need to open our ports up, these specifically;
Rajat: You need to open the ports:
UDP Ports: 53, 88, 3074
TCP Port: 53, 80, 3074
Here are instructions to do so:
- In the search box type 'firewall'
- Click on the 'Windows Firewall' option that appears
- In the left pane click 'Advanced Settings'
- If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password for confirmation. If not, please skip to the next step.
- In the left pane of the 'Windows Firewall with Advanced Security' dialog box click 'Inbound Rules'
- In the right pane, click 'New Rule'
- This will cause a New Inbound Rule Wizard to run where you will be able to enter the relevant port number and to select either 'TCP' or 'UDP'
you can not enter the tcp and udp ones at the same time, so once you do one, go back and do the other. Good luck. #longlivencaafootball

That makes no sense at all. Why would you need to configure your windows firewall when you're playing on an Xbox. The 2 don't rely on each other at all. Your Windows PC is not going to block traffic or ports trying to come into your Xbox.
He may have meant to say that the ports need to be open on your router... but certainly not your windows PC.
Regardless, I've tried opening these ports on my router and sending them to the xbox, and it does not make a difference one way or the other. It was working fine up until about 2 weeks ago... now suddenly it's a port issue?? Sorry, but that is a load of BS.
I also tried someones earlier suggestion of clearing the System Cache. That actually seemed to help... once. Now I'm back to the same issue again, 'Error Uploading Team Data' every time I try to recruit or finish a game. Other folks in my dynasty tried it as well, but it did not help them at all.
Looks like we may be getting the shaft.
