fwiw, I feel like it's possible to add teams via the editor, you won't have logos/uniforms, but I think I might be able to add App State, Georgia Souther, Charlotte - I need a good afternoon to experiment and be patient with the crashes

Skulletor, I have a dumb question for you. Do you know how to sort the Team ID drop down menus in the editor?

In my past dynasties it's always been alphabetized so it's a breeze to swap teams out for my playoffs.

In my new dynasty I've made 2 changes that may have affected this. 1. I renamed UAB to Charlotte. 2. I'm doing a promotion/relegation dynasty so I've greatly rearranged the conferences. I don't know how I did it, but the Team ID drop down menu (I'm talking about the one under "Schedule Data" but it seems to be all of them) is no longer alphabetized and it'd make it a royal pain to swap out the teams.

I've opened an older DB file from my older dynasty and it's still alphabetized there so it's definitely coming from my new dynasty file.

So, after doing some debugging, it wasn't my renaming of UAB that broke things and it WAS my conference realignments that did it. It looks like the positioning of the teams in the drop down menu are liked to their location within conferences. When I swap teams in conferences in game, it also swaps their locations in the drop down menus.

IE. If the menu originally looks like this:
(51) Michigan
(52) Michigan St
(53) Mid Tenn St
.....
(81) San Diego St
(82) San Jose St
(83) SMU

and then in game I swapped Michigan St with San Jose St, then the drop downs would now look like this:
(51) Michigan
(82) San Jose St
(53) Mid Tenn St
.....
(81) San Diego St
(52) Michigan St
(83) SMU

As you can see from the jumble in my previous screenshot, I made a TON of changes (I'm sure well over half of the teams are in new conferences) so it's all FUBARed.

The thing I don't get yet is that in my other dynasty I've made a fair number of conference changes throughout the years, including the real world changes, and as teams "outgrow" their current conference. I've never noticed any out of order downs and I checked an old file and looked at teams that I know moved and they're still in alphabetical order.

I can only think of 2 differences, 1. The # of changes in my old file is still a lot less than my new one. 2. I did the conference changes for my new promotion/relegation dynasty during the dynasty setup while in my old file all of the changes were made during the offseason. I'll do a test now to see if #2 is the difference.

So I broke it by doing conference changes while creating the dynasty.
I started a new dynasty and made some conference changes while creating the dynasty. The drop down menus were screwed up.
I started a new dynasty and then simmed to the end of it, went through the offseason and made the conference changes before advancing to 2014. The drop downs were fine.

Skulletor, if you already know how to fix the ordering of the drop downs in my dynasty that's FUBARed that'd be awesome, but I don't expect it. Otherwise, what I'm gonna do is lose the season I just played and start a new dynasty, sim to the end of 2013 and then do the conference changes then.

It sucks to lose a season, but not nearly as much as having to fight through the out of order menus every season for my 8 team playoffs.

it is indeed from changing dynasties as part of setup, happened in my continuation dynasty, I haven't fixed it in the editor (I don't think it'd be that hard), but I found that I more or less have a large number of the teams memorized and just type in the id in the drop down

Could you use one of the FCS logos for Charlotte? As I understand it there are some generic bowl logos hard coded which aren't assigned to any teams in-game. I wonder if the same holds true for team logos?

But I can't do any coding on my end so am I stuck with 12 teams in Dynasty mode? Can I not control more than 12 Head Coaches/Schools?
