24. Martin Stadium, Washington State

Woo Hoo!

Its the smallest stadium on the list but its pretty tough with all the loud fans and crazy weather and all.

Man, Autzen is roudy as heck too, but when WAZZU went down there last year, you could hear a cricket because of how one sided of a game it was. Should be a much better game this year and I might go to it.

I will be at every game at Martin Staduim this year! (Student)

I'm excited to see WSU on that list.

I think game time should play a factor in the home field advantage. In the SEC you do not want to play the Jefferson Pilot game at 11:30 (CST) at home. There is no crowd advantage at all, it is hard for the fans to get into it early in the day. On the other hand night games in the south give people a chance to get their "drink on" and get a little rowdy.

Florida is not that hard at mid-day.........

No Nole fears the Swamp.

Good to see Doak on the list at 14 though.

Eh, The Swamp is not tough at all.

It was when I played there. I hated that place.

I will hold firm the belief that you have never traveled west of the Mississippi in your life.

I think they should have 2 seperate list, 1 for day, 1 for night. If that was the case, LSU at night is by far the toughest plact to play in the country. I know the swamp gets loud at night, but holy cow! Tiger Stadium's noise level is flat out piercing!

The point is to be tough to play at all the time. Not just when its convenient for the drunkards! But really this would be truly tough to judge without taking a bunch of people who have actually been to all of these places on more than one occasion.

So many things factor into it. Time of day, home record, size of stadium, number of fans that actually show up and roudyness factor of said fans and dynamics of the stadium. Some smaller stadiums can blow the big boys away just because of how they are built.

Maybe the NCAA needs to come up with another computer equated formula just for the stadium?
