Promotion/Relegation based on regions/states

Recently I have gotten back into NCAA 14 and want to set up a promotion/relegation dynasty. I just want a 2 tier system but wanted it based on states and regions. Looking for opinions.

Region 1: Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Hawaii

PAC 12 North: Washington, Oregon, Oregon State, Utah, Stanford, California
PAC 12 South: Colorado, UCLA, USC, San Diego State, Arizona, Arizona State
MWC North: Washington State, Boise State, Utah State, Wyoming, Nevada, San Jose State
MWC South: Hawaii, New Mexico, New Mexico State, Colorado State, UNLV, Fresno State

Region 2: Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas
Big 12 Texas: Texas Tech, Texas A&M, TCU, Baylor, Texas, Houston
Big 12: Plains: Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Arkansas, LSU
C-USA Texas: UTEP, North Texas, Rice, Texas State, UTSA, SMU
C-USA Plains: Tulsa, Arkansas State, ULL, ULM, Tulane, Louisiana Tech

Region 3: Nebraska, Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio
Big 10 West: Nebraska, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Iowa State, Illinois
Big 10 East: Michigan, Michigan State, Purdue, Indiana, Ohio State, Cincinnati
MAC West: NIU, Northwestern, Ball State, CMU, WMU, EMU
MAC East: Toledo, BGSU, Ohio, Akron, Kent State, Miami

Region 4: Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri
SEC East: Florida, Florida State, Miami, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Tennessee
SEC West: Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Louisville, Missouri
Sunbelt East: USF, UCF, FAU, FIU, Kentucky, Vanderbilt
Sunbelt West: USM, South Alabama, Troy, Middle Tennesee, Memphis, Western Kentucky

Region 5: South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut
ACC South: Clemson, South Carolina, Duke, North Carolina, Virginia, Virginia Tech
ACC North: Boston College, Syracuse, Pittsburgh, Penn State, Maryland, West Virginia
American South: Georgia State, Wake Forest, Charlotte, NC State, East Carolina, Old Dominion
American North: Buffalo, UMASS, Rutgers, Temple, Marshall, UCONN

Independents: Navy, Army, Air Force, BYU, Notre Dame, Idaho

Notes:
Charlotte replaced UAB.
Thinking of replacing Georgia State with Appalachian State to make my states better.
Division Winner in MWC, C-USA, MAC, Sunbelt, and American would all be promoted to PAC 12, BIG 12, BIG 10, SEC, and ACC.
Last Place team in each division of PAC 12, BIG 12, BIG 10, SEC, and ACC would be relegated to the MWC, C-USA, MAC, Sunbelt, and American.

This is something I was considering on doing. Just have not sat down and done the logistics for the conferences. Might just piggy back off of yours.

Go for it. I just wanted some kind of promotion/relegation based on regions. Obviously some regions have better teams then others but I figured over time it will even it self out.

I have a setup that I borrowed from someone here on OS (can't remember who) and improved on it. It's a 2 tier 5 divisions in each tier. The U.S. is split down the middle for an East and a West tier. I'm on mobile right now, but when I get home I'll jump on my computer and upload the spreadsheet I use to keep track of team records each year and stuff

Sounds interesting I am definitely interested in how the divisions are broken down and what teams are in each division. Sounds fun.

Ok so I worded my other post wrong. Its 2 divisions, 5 tiers in each division. It looks like I even copy and pasted the guy's write up explaining the set up. I'm attaching both the word document with the original write up, and my excel sheet for keeping track of overall records, and my post season brackets that I was going to use. If you have any questions on anything just let me know and ill try to answer them

Sounds like this was mine. I'm very happy with how I set it up.

It very well might have been. I can't remember who I got it from. If it was yours, thank you
