My thought is that Steve has had the beta for about a week now, but the game is TOO ADDICTIVE and he can't stop playing.

Can't beleive it is gold and he doesn't have it yet!

Steve will not get a beta this late in the game. If anything, he'll get a pre-release copy.

The version Steve USUALLY gets is complete, but does not have online access.

probably. the best thing for you guys to do is to find some odd jobs to do for two weeks.
