great interview. that was a fun read.

I bet you think so, Linder!

.... Yes, ladies and germs, the legend continues. DT is back again with yet another new username in order to pimp himself and his rosters.

How does he keep managing to do that, mobile IP?

maybe we'll convert him and he'll actually do his own work. you know other roster editors are gonna have cretain things changed or missing, just to check out other files, to see who's copying... most of the roster guys have caught on and done their own work, maybe its time that he becomes 100% legit to his "fans".

I dunno, but the drama has to stop. Its annoying and has no place on a sports message board, espec near Christmas time(ncaa release).

Yeah - Dynamic IP address. With some commections, you get a static IP - you have one IP address only. With dynamic IP, each time you reboot your DSL moden, you get a new IP address from a range that your ISP has available.

We could ban the entire class C (and have done so before), but usually reserve that for extreme situations. It can catch a lot of innocents in the crossfire.

He registered again (from the same IP) about 2 minutes after I banned XXDosEquisXX. I just need him to confirm the email with his password so that he can be banned.

Re: Cool DT interview, please no flaming

isn't it possible to ban his email adress also? So he couldn't use it to register here?

Of course he'd have to keep making email accounts but that's be more of a hassle for him than restarting his modem.

No need - email addresses are unique. As soon as it's in the database, you can't create another with the same email. However, we don't block hotmail or yahoo addresses, so .....

Anyways, I'll lock this up. We'll keep banning him, but I suppose extended drama is just more advertising for him.

This pattern of creating new screennames to "pretend" to be other people is nothing new for him, however. I assume we'll see more of this, as this is his peak moneymaking season.
