Slow Moon Play

I have encountered a lot of slow motion play lately. It's always sometime in the 2nd quarter and lasts for the rest of the game. Has anyone else had this? It is playing in an off line dynasty on PS3. I was wondering if it may be my disc is wearing out or maybe my machine, but, I don't have any slow mo issues with any other games I play. Any one have any experience with this?
Thanks

Re: Slow Moon Play

Do you mean the game itself moves slow? Or the players move slow? I've noticed sometimes in the second half that it feels like all of my players acceleration gets cut down to like 70. My 98 acc running back speeds up at the same rate as my 72 acc tight end. I jus chalked it up to fatigue though

I think the game can have issues with slow down after looking at instant replays (from the menu).

If you're looking at replays, stop doing that and see if that fixes things.

Re: Slow Moon Play

The whole game slows down. The players and game play. I do look at replays from the menu sometimes. I will definitely not do that and see if it helps. I have one of the old 40 gig machines that I have had since they came out so I was worried it might be an issue. What about using one of those discs that clean the laser eye in the machine, do those even work?

Re: Slow Moon Play

I've had this too, the game plays as though it's stuck in mud but the replays and such would be fine. It's an odd issue, it doesn't happen all the time but it does it enough to be irritating.

Re: Slow Moon Play

Exactly, but, it seems to be happening almost all the time anymore. Do you watch the replays from the menu as jello1717 mentioned? I know I do so I am going to play a game with no replays and see if that helps.
Thanks for the input guys.

Re: Slow Moon Play

You can almost coax it into happening if you exit replay while its "playing". I've found to prevent it as much as possible stop your replay before you exit out.

Re: Slow Moon Play

I've noticed it happen if I played with sliders, it could be attributed to replays since I take replays for my dynasty but it doesn't happen 100% of the time either, that could be a cause though.
