actually the ps2 had much better catching, my opinion is perfect.
on xbox the drops are like a bug, trust me, they aren`like ohh ok...2 or 3, they are like WIDE open...like something is missing

I seriously doubt that there is a difference in WR catching the ball and dropping the ball between PlayStation 2 and XBOX. They are the same game, same programs, same animations same ratings. People's views just get SO biased because someone may play a PS2 for 6 years on dynasty, and then start one on XBOX play a few years, have some bad games where more balls are dropped and then all of a sudden, more balls are dropped because its being played on XBOX.

I've played both a hell of a lot, and I've noticed a differance. I own an Xbox, and have to bump up the recieving sliders a lot if I want to catch a curl or slant with Fitz, but on PS2, I can catch those with Norfolk St.

Steve's been really high on the in-game ratings swings with confidence. I get the impression that's the biggest improvement from last year. I hope it doesn't get ridiculous in the game with interception on a QB, but could make a difference from a blowout or a close game. Because these swings in confidence affect ratings, I wonder if it's only for that game or can carry over into the the next? Sounds like a good question to ask, but he might not be able to answer it if he's only playing exhibition games. Might have to wait til dynasty to find out.

Composure and confidence does carry over from game to game.

Thanks for answering that. I don't have to waste space in asking it in the impressions thread now.

Sounds to me that you guys dont know how to throw the ball with "touch." It was very important in last years game and everyone struggled with it at first, but eventually most caught on and realized that they were no longer able to bullet every single pass like they did last year.

I had no problem with drops whatsoever once I learned how to tap the button no hard, but not softly to where it lobs either. There is a certain medium you have to tap it at.

No, the touch isn't a problem for me. On the short passes I tend to go for the "control" only button as opposed to the "control" and "catch" button. My problem is that I don't throw enough short passes. Sometimes I don't even press the "control" button. Does anybody think the NCAA 2003 short passing game was better then NCAA 2004?

a lot of people are used to NCAA on PS2 more than Xbox, I'm getting it for Xbox for the first time this year, and I know that it'll be a learning curve for the controls...that might be part of it, what might be innate for you on a PS2 controller might take some re-learning on a xbox one, i dunno
