A favorite of mine to reproduce is the 1990s Nebraska Option. I still haven't made one that really clicks yet and I like to watch about 5 of their games before I make one, but I intend to that this summer.

By far, though, this is the most easily copied one. Nothing fancy or flashy...but very effective.

I wish this game had the single wing. I would run that offense all day long. Or the wing-T, so methodical, so hard to stop IRL. Also the Far/Near formations that are in madden. I'd love to play with those formations in this game

I done one with the 98 team. Its very basic but, fun to run.

This is the reason why I run Bill Walsh playbook!

I suppose you could try to make the old Spurrier fun n gun playbook from his Florida days.

Re: What are some good old school offenses to recreate?

I had an old Wing T playbook that I used. I basically just put in a bunch of flexbone and wingbone formations, removed the triple option plays, and motioned the backs where they would be in an actual wing t formation. I also had a playbook with a nice mix of Nebraska I Option, Flexbone, Wishbone, Wingbone and pistol that was pretty cool. If passing is your thing, you could use the run n shoot. Now that SMU runs a power spread no one is currently using the offense.

How did you do this with the pre-play motion that is in 80% of the plays in these formations?

I did it in the plays that I could, and I just had to accept I couldn't in the ones I couldn't lol. The formations look similar enough, so it wasn't that much of an issue for me.
