Re: Heisman level: your thoughts
I like heisman very much and it has given me very realistic games. This is what I do.
Being texas tech (80% passing offense)
First off you have to know the ins and outs of each play. Don't go into a play focusing on one reciever, you have to read your progressions:
1) Recognize coverage (cover 2/3, man, whatever.)
2) Look at primary reads, usually the deeper routes
3) Know where the dump offs are
If you go through these progressions the passing game will be easier. Its difficult at first but after training yourself to look for these things it becomes second nature.
Also the quick audible system works very well and you have that backup play so that you never run a bad play.
I am using Heisman w/ 10 minute quarters a few adjusted sliders, here are some stats:
Texas Tech/ TCU
score 49/31
total yrds 521/320
comp-att 36-52/ 17/27
Pass yrds 415/180
rush att 12/28
Rush yrds 106/140
Texas Tech / TAMU
score 38/36
total yrds 501/410
comp-att 30-49/21-33
pass yrds 443/298
rush att 9/20
rush yrds 58/112
