Only one I've run back was against my brother. The computer shuts me down pretty good.

Kick return got down to the opponents 20, one man to beat but he got me.

I have returned a punt for a TD, it was short though.

And I have returned a pick fot 63yd TD. But most of my picks I get tackled right away.

Ok, so it's not just me!

Guess it's harder this year... I think last year, aside from the robotic blocking, was pretty damn realistic... you usually see a few during the weekends....

Re: Hey... has anyone run one back?

I haven't run a punt back yet, but its a matter of time. Tre Smith is leading the NCAA in my dynasty for punt return average, because i get at least 15 every time (run "punt block", it forces the CPU to bring everyone in and is very effective). I usually get to the 25 on kickoffs, and about once every two games i'll break one to about my own 40. I've run one INT back (31 yards), but i have given up an 80 yarder (tipped pass against LSU, their fastest corner got it and all my backs and receivers were behind him when he got it).

Last year returning punts was WAY too easy (i'd average over 25 yards, and have about 5 TD's in a season). Looks like they fixed it a little, but i've won two big games simply because i force a three and out, get good field position and turn it into a TD a few times every game. But i don't feel bad, cause that's Auburn football (to me anyway).

I ran a punt 55 yds with Bama and a kickoff online with WVU. Also I ran a 78 yd INT with WVU online last night.

Re: Hey... has anyone run one back?

I had a monster return against LSU in my Florida dynasty. I was up 24-21 and LSU had the ball with under 2 minutes to play. They had just scored and recovered the onside kick and my players were totally rattled. I just couldn't find an answer for their now red hot offense. Well they drove the ball down to my 18 yd line and I was just thinking this may be worse than the Choke at Doak. But my fans don't give up. They get really really loud and their QB tries to audible, but the wideout doesn't hear it and runs the wrong route. The ball gets thrown right at Jarvis Herring and I get the user pick. I then, inexplicably decide I should try returning it. I get a great block from Deshawn Carter and I'm free. 107 yards and a new NCAA record later, I've got my first INT return of a touchdown in 2005. I love this game!
