Back to 2004

After finishing a game against Auburn where Auburn's QB completed 35% of his passes, I popped in 2004 to see the difference. I played NC ST (CPU) v. Pitt. Rivers was 13-16 for 129 at the half. Are we ever going to see a QB do this in 2005? I think not. I think EA decided it was going to be defensive year and rather than coming up with a great logical way to balance Offense v. Defense, they made the CPU DB's kind of superhuman. I feel like 2005 is a bust.

Re: Back to 2004

Sorry to hear you don't like a challenge. The game hasn't even been out a week and you've given up.
I guess some people prefer the terribly easy passing and high scoring shootouts of 2004.

That's what sliders are for. Your loss. Every game I play it gets better and better.

Return the game if you aren't having fun with it. Don't come on here and complain about it though, just take it back!

Jason Campbell sucks, so that's pretty realistic. If it's in the game...

Re: Back to 2004

i really like the passing this year, its tough but to me seems fair. You really have to take advantaged of rattled DBs and make a lot more shorter, simpler passes to get a good completion rating. And figure in the NFL the higest completion percentage was 67% which is roughly 20 out of 30 passes. Avg was about 55 which is just under 17 passes out of 30.

So its pretty realistic once you learn to be more patient and throw to pen players not ones covered by 2-3 men,
