I simmed to see how recuriting was and come to find out, 22 count them, 22 of the top 100 did not comment anywhere. 8 of the bluechips and 2 were Elite 11..what is this? Anyone know why?

From what I heard some players dont sign....it is supposed to represent them not qualifying acedemicaly.

Someone on another post said he had a couple show up on his team as walkons.

I've seen this happening too. I was going after two 4 star recruits and my school was their top choice but they never signed with me. At the end of the recruiting process I was still their top school but they signed with no one. I was pretty po'ed but they must have joined my team by being walk-ons cause they were on my team when I was re-ordering my roster. I don't like the way the game does this but I got the guys I needed so, oh well.

Haven't played dynasty yet, but I don't like the sound of this. Even if it is because they aren't qualifying academically, when was the last time 22 of the top 100 players didn't qualify academically?

Happens all the time. EA blew it a lil out of proportion. I'd say 10 out of the top 100 don't sign. One of the top 5 linemen in the nation couldn't sign due to academics(he signed with Bama, Zo Washington). Every top team oversigns due to academics. I think Bama signed 28 and will only report 20.

10 is much different from 22...when was the last time 22 of the top 100 didn't sign? I don't really like this, even if they show up as walk-ons on my team.

I think we've established that people don't sign because of academic issues in "real life" but I've never heard of 22 of the top 100 players in the country not signing.
