Re: Dynasty roster question

Yeah I think you should play him all throughout the secondary and even at backup QB at times. Could play him on the outside at corner, make him a safety in other formations and just always find a way to get him in the field.

Re: Dynasty roster question

Put him in as a CB. He's 3rd on depth chart (45 awareness though eh) behind 2 JR's and will split time as nickel CB with cb below him on depth chart (better awareness, bit lower coverage ratings) and slot in some FS/SS play.

-#3 on QB chart-will be my wildcat qb.

thanks for suggestions...as much as i love dynasty mode, getting players on the field after a couple recruiting classes is a challenge at times

I havent checked Generic Editor for PS3/360 versions but in the PS2 version, theres a database called DPRS. In it has the minimum number of players per position.

So if we change the field for FB to 0, we wouldn't need one?

I think so. I've only tried this in Madden and it worked. Again, this was for PS2 era of games. A lot of the database tables are the same though.

This is pretty awesome. I will explore and implement it in my current dynasty whenever I accept a head coaching position. This could be helpful, for instance, if you fail to secure a commit a hotly contested recruit or you have an unexpected transfer and would prefer to always have, say, 4 R- and LOLBs.

I will post my findings in this post whenever I am in the position to do so.

Minotauri, let me ask, is the PDIM field equate to importance of the position?

Re: Dynasty roster question

I remember downloading rosters when NCAA Football 14 first came out. Since I am a Hoosier fan, I checked out the roster with the 2013 team. They had no player listed as fullback on the '13 team and whoever edited the rosters had no fullback in the game. I thought that was neat, but when I played with the team, I had to recruit a fullback or have one walk on....or do what has been suggested in this thread with other positions filling in for the fullback. So, I know there is a way to do the same thing as can be done on the PS2.
