One thing that game had that this one doesn't is a playoff mode option. I wish that was still in the game.

I remember how much I loved NCAA 2000. A GREAT game for its time.

But I ain't going back!

cmon how else would EA introduce "new features" if they didnt take out "old features" and reintroduce them as new a year or three later!

Next year theyll re-introduce neutral fields to online play and random weather. Maybe theyll even bring back the playoff option. But be careful what EA giveth EA taketh away...hello playoffs goodbye player editing!

You guys want to talk about how far sports games have come,just remember some of the guys on this site grew up playing Atari Football,10 yard fight,NFL,Tecmo Bowl,and NES Play-Action Football. I remember there was this kid in my neighborhood who kept trying to convince me and some of the other guys that Play-Action Football was better than Tecmo Bowl.

ahh, play action football and tecmo bowl--played both, absolutely no comparison, tecmo bowl was the best. that and baseball stars are two of my favorite games of all time.

You can't forget those games also let you play East vs West and the Senior Bowl. Man, it does bring back good memories and I remember when it used to just be season mode before the introduction of "THE DYNASTY!"

Those graphics are awesome compared to the old Bill Walsh. Gameplay is definately #1, but presentation and graphics go a long way. I played some Madden 2000 last year while waiting for 2004 to come out and it was fun, but played totally different almost.

Dude I tried playing that game like last year cuz I didn't have my PS2 in the house and I was like I actually enjoyed playing this game. It was like a football game with legos!
