Re: Raise Or Lower CPU or Human Slider To Make Real?

Actually on NCAA 06, Iowa State was preseason ranked 34. Great scrambling QB and fast RB. They went 7-5 that year I think in real life. I changed some sliders some today. I am not sure if the sliders you posted from my other post are the same ones I am using. I do a lot of rushing because of the spread offense/option attack.

Thanks for that input. I will try those out. Can't wait.

I'm looking at your yards per carry average its too high. If you want a realistic dynasty you need to get that below 10 yards a carry.
Could be that 06 is broken when it comes to defending the option too. Its been a long time since I played 06

06 option works right. the defender will sometimes take out QB and sometimes will guess to go to the halfback.

I think your interception slider is too high. I fiddle around between 0 and 5 for that and I still think it's too high sometimes.

I agree that your running ability is a bit high too for 06 if you're on AA difficulty. the stats are too high consistently.

I think when he gets his yards per carry around 6.5-7.0 then he will have success with a challenge. The CPU should be getting about 4 yards a carry as well. 7 yards max for you and 4 yards mininmum for CPU. No where near that now.

Re: Raise Or Lower CPU or Human Slider To Make Real?

Okay this last game was the greatest. I won by 3 and it had a decent score. 27-24. Sliders are getting closer. 34 rushes for 165 for Iowa State and 19 rushes for 123 for Mizzou. Mizzou QB was 12 of 21 for 176. ISU QB was 12 of 14 for 211. I have adjusted that slider even more now. Mizzou was only picked off once. Mizzou was sacked 3 times. I have changed sliders a little more to help out CPU. Will post in a bit.

Thanks for all the input.

That sounds better. Just remember baby steps when adjusting sliders and you will enjoy the game for years

Re: Raise Or Lower CPU or Human Slider To Make Real?

Used these sliders for a 55-52 loss to Oklahoma State.

Offense
SLIDER---------HUMAN-------CPU
QB ACC----------40------------55
PASS BLK--------50------------55
WR CTCH--------50------------50
RB ABIL----------40-----------50
RUN BLK---------35-----------55

Defense
SLIDER---------HUMAN--------CPU
AWR--------------45------------55
KNCKD-----------50------------55
INT----------------5------------10
BRK BLK---------30------------40
TCKL-------------45------------55

Any feedback would.be appreciated. This made for one check of a game. I feel it is still too many passing yards for both teams. But getting closer.
