May been address already how can I get my CPU to throw more down field a little more ? I see more slants , comebacks and some screens, but hardly any vertical passes??

Sliders will help too. I use the community sliders and the CPU throws downfield when it's open. I run a mix of man and zone and have been burnt deep more times than I'd like to admit because I was caught in cover 1
