Does gamestop have this heatsink device? I've never heard of it, What does it look like and if not where else can I get it I need details fellas....

The heatsink won't work. Its just the game. I have tried different copies of the game and have tried different xboxs.

brewer, i got my shipment in today. I'm extremely tired from driving home from Denver, a 8 hour drive. I did an all nighter driving home, but I did get the package.


I do see some voltage wires that they were gonna give me... What all do I do?

I have a launch Xbox too and I experience the slow down mostly on offense. The slowdown is worse online when playing on offense.

Guys, Just installed the heatsink and the power adapter crossover for the fan speed.

It's louder, cooler, and the game's seem to load and be faster , as the system stays on and the cpu proccessor is cooler.

Yep your Fan is Moving at 12 volts now which is like 6000 rpms (Twice as fast)

and you are also cooling the MCPX (Southbridge) which is vital!

Im happy its working like it should now! like I said the MCPX is the hottest component on the system and should be cooled as it is the main component that processes the Video and Polygons!

Everyone having Game problems or the dreaded dirty disk error should give this a go a 4 year old can install it its simple.

Games should run with smooth framerates the way the developers intended!
