Wow! Turning off HFA...

...makes the game a bit more like '04! The problems that many complain about:

Dropped passes
Poor QB %'s

Aren't that prevalent anymore.... sure, it takes some of the fun of HFA away, but it gives a more realistic outcome...

Try it, and see what you guys think...

yeah man, almost instantly the game changed. I'm getting mad at myself because what used to work on D now doesn't work because the CPU seems alot smarter.

I haven't had the chance to try it yet, but I really hope you're right.
I really love this game, except for the the dropped passes and low completion pct., which takes a lot of the fun out of it. HFA is nice, but I'll sacrifice it for a better passing game.

Yeah, we're right. Use the heisman level e njkroc slider and you'll have a great game.
Cpu on this level play a very solid passing and running game.
I use a 10 minute quarter.

But EA must fix something next year like:

a)Graphics and presentation: now that the gameplay is solid it's time to update the player models and animation (2005 is good but i think that xbox version could be a lot better. And please put the game highlight at the end of a game.

b)More 1-AA team

c)Let'us customize player's sock and shoes

d)More atmosphere on bowl games

e)Eliminate drop balls from this game. They're not so frequent turning HFA off but they're still present sometimes.

Meh, this still doesn't help me with online. I'll give it a try in my dynasty though.

Yeah, but online I don't really care so much about my stats as I do in my dynasty...

does it help the framerate any. I haven't played much ncaa since espn came out and now madden mostly because of the framerate issues. Whenever I get back into hopefully there is something I can do to make it better.
