Need Help with Recruiting before signing day

Had around 8 players, they all visited me week 14 and I went up 1,000 points but none of them signed. I'm up 1,000 points before signing day, so I put 1,000 points on each of them where it gives you 15,000 points to spend before signing day. Well, i go to signing day and they all end up signing with someone else.....How many points I'm I suppose to give each recruit? I can't give them all the 15,000 points....What gives???

P.S.
I won the National Title this year too in year 2020 with Notre Dame - the team was rated 99 across the board.

Basically what happened was that competing teams you had going against you went all in on those recruits therefore they won over the recruit and got him. If you have multiple recruits to go after at that time of year, you will need to decide which one or two are most important to you and go after them. Especially if they are blue chip prospects. Anytime. Through the season you will see when recruiting a player you have a BIG lead on them. The following week that lead gets closed in half. Reason being is cause the 2nd place team signed a player and put their focus into hat player.

so you went after 15 guys on Nsd? That's way too many. I'd identify which targets are most important to you and then look at how much of a lead you have and allocate accordingly.

Ya 15 guys is way to many to go after on signing day. I try to pick 2-3 that I absolutely need or want and focus on those player specifically. For example, I just did signing day last night and there were 4 guys on my board still unsigned, 2 I really needed to sign and 2 that I want just for depth. I spread my 15k points; 6,000, 4,500, 2,500, 2,000. I got recruits 1, 2, and 4 to sign. I was up 1500 points on recruit 3 going in which means the other school spent over 4000 points on him. Are you understanding how that works? If not I can try to explain it better

yes i believe if an ai controlled team goes after a recruit they max out their points.
