Team Captains

alright guys, what's the deal with these? Is there a real sign of a player that would be a good team captain other than full bar of composure or is it pretty much hit or miss? thoughts...

Re: Team Captains

If you have a composed captain, when you call Timeout and you select what group to compose, if your captain is composed, the group you select will be better. But if your captain is rattled then the group you select will get rattled too.

Re: Team Captains

Anyone noticed that captains don't get in trouble either? I had a player who would get in trouble every season, but once he became a captain I had no problems with him at all.

And the only players that ever get in trouble are the good ones. All my best players seem to get in trouble but never the guys that suck. If I ever get a 4th teamer to break rules, I'll bench him for the season. For my good players, I sit them out a quarter, if that.

Actually I had to suspend my Captain for the rest of the season(4games) after his third offense of the year---his discipline level was an A. So I switched captain status to my next highest composure guy and the next week he got in trouble for the second time that year so I suspended him for the rest of the season. After that had to name another captain, 3 in 3 weeks.
Crazy......
