Would it be worth it. (NCAA 2006)

I was thinking about buying an old PS2/XBOX, getting NCAA 2006, and having a jam session.

I have for XBOX 360:
NCAA 2009, NCAA 2011, NCAA 2012, NCAA 2013, NCAA 2014.

I loved '09, the gun slinging, although I did get exhausted with it when once I was #2 Cal, played #1 USC at the end of the season, we went to OT, and then we rematched for the national title. #3 OU (12-1) didn't budge.

2011 was fun except to many undefeated teams. Seemed like every year if you didn't go 13-0/12-0/11-0 you ran into being #7 at best.

2012 was and is fun, I still play.

2013, didn't like that much to be honest.

2014 was a ton of fun! Still play, just bored with it after almost 5 years of always playing it.

So, I was debating buying an old console (my first and only system has been 360), and getting NCAA 2006. I can get an XBOX and 2006 for $55 total. Controllers and cords included. A PS2 would bump it to $110.

Would I enjoy it you think, or should I just continue with the ones I have?

I still have two copies of 06. Currently playing Syracuse as my dynasty. Well worth it.

Yes I am debating on doing it. Road to glory player to dynasty sounds fun. 06 was the best Game and ncaa 04 was good too. Ps2 on Amazon for only 55.

I actually went through the same exact thing. I have '14 and '12 for PS3 and 360 respectively. One day I got a really bad urge to play NCAA 2006 on the PS2 and I found a copy of it on Amazon for $5. So I pulled the trigger.

When it got here it was a NCAA 2006 box with NCAA 09 copy inside.

06 is easily my favorite version of the game from a “fun” prospective so I would say it is very much worth the purchase. Real rosters even makes it more enjoyable.

ITS OFFICIAL. WENT ahead and bought an Xbox and NCAA 06 is on the way. 50 bucks total can't beat it. I was playing NCAA 13 for PS3 last night and it just took way to long. I just want to play the game and these games all take way too long to do anything other than in game play. Reminiscing on the benefits of 06. Campus legend to dynasty here we come and I like that you can import you man to be a coach. Too much perks in 06.
