Heisman Watch Question

When you look at the Heisman Watch section in Sports Illustrated, next to all the players names there is a arrow. Does anyone know what those arrows mean?

Arrow pointing up=player has moved up on the list
Arrow pointing down=player has moved down on the list
Arrow pointing straight=player has not moved on the list

Re: Heisman Watch Question

Im not sure if anyone else has noticed this, but it seems to me that the person with the most touchdowns in a season always wins the heisman. whether its a qb, rb, or wr whoever ends up with the most visits to the endzone wins. i was playing with houston in my 3rd year and Kolb was a 98 overall, i was passing all over teams, but usually just let my rb pound it into the endzone when we got close, so even though Kolb was throwing for massive amounts of yards each game, he never even made it into the heisman watch. anyone else notice this???

Yeah, for me, it ends up, if it's a close race, the guy with the highest rating always wins...

I rushed for like 37 TDs one year with my 89 rated HB, and he didn't win Heisman, but every other possible award a HB could receive... he lost to a 96 rated QB or HB that didnt have near the stats I did...

Kinda pissed me off, but oh well...

Re: Heisman Watch Question

yea, this past season in my dynasty my 89 rated RB loses out on the Heisman the last week.

His stats for the year were a little over 2000 yds rushing with over 20 TD's, and loses to a guy with 1100 yds and fewer TD's.

Just doesn't make sense.

Re: Heisman Watch Question

For RBs, I think it also depends on receiving yards. If you do run for 2000 yds and have few receptions, the back with more catches and a significant number of rushing yards will take the award.

I hear ya, but my back did have comparable receiving numbers.
