Some College Football Defense Do's & Don'ts

I use coach mode and I have lots of do's and don'ts. Get a fast tight end and use him - get fast linebackers and safeties. Get players with high acceleration especially important for linemen. Establish the run. Watch what the opponent is doing in the passing game. If everything is underneath passing then adjust the zone depth to shorter and play a lot of zone. Block shedding is important for DL.

Get fullbacks with mid 80's speed and good strength. Use them in certain running formations as the feature back. they can be difference makers in short yardage and goal to go. Use the formation sub feature to get the right players on the field in the right formations.

Against option teams use 4-3 spy formations or the 4-4. I destroy option teams with those formations and fast linebackers.
