Microsoft confirmed backward compatible for ALL previous XBOX Consoles as stated in this article. Though if one has the disc, it means you can play it and should have no issue playing right? I mean I understand not allowing it to be a digital download because EA won't allow it but if the Scarlett reads your NCAA 14 disc, you should be able to play it again no problem.
Check the wording in that article. It specifically says original Xbox and Xbox 360 games BC on the Xbox One will be BC on Scarlett. Which means if you can't play it on the Xbox One, you can't play it on Scarlett.
At least that's how I read what he says. Not trying to be a downer, I just think there are some complications to make the games accessible on modern hardware.
Yeah I don't see them just opening up any game to be BC considering how much of an issue it was to get them working on current gen. Hope I am wrong however.
Essentially, they would have to have to release PS5/Scarlett with older gen consoles built in like what they did with the launch PS3 having a PS2 built in.
