running into issues when selecting uniforms in the 1164-1212 range. lot of empty #'s causing the game to freeze.

CHOA is main helmet, yes.
CHTA is the secondary helmet.

helmets would take a very long time to create a list because teams only have (2) slots. I started a dynasty w/ 12 TB teams so I could check 48 jerseys at one time. Wasn't too bad.

if there is a specific helmet you are looking for, I would search teambuilder teams and download a team with the real helmets. put that team in a dynasty, hop into the editor on the uniforms tab and the helmet # will appear.

So for you experts in the uniform mod game, would I be able to do something as basic as inverting the colors of the numbers on my created school's alternate home jersey? Basically the situation is that I created Pitt through teambuilder to give them their blue/yellow jerseys which are now their actual colors again. However, I built the team when they were using the "retros" which had white numbers and yellow outline, while their new full time jerseys have yellow numbers with a white outline. I would love to be able to change that. I would also love to change the number style from the square style to the more curvy style to match what they have done number wise there as well. What fields would I want to look for to change this?

I do have some editor experience so I should be able to hopefully figure things out once I know the right fields, as I have been able to implement the playoff through the editor and even fix a game glitch where it had stuck a player on the depth chart of the wrong school.

you should be able to. the list of tabs to edit for the custom made jerseys is on the first tab. I have not messed with them yet. eventually I may get around to it... download 12 teams with some similarities, throw them in a dynasty and then check the editor to see what's what.

so it's interesting when you get into the 1,000's; the helmet and jersey #'s are in sequential order so that may have been why the game was freezing when I was testing jersey #'s in the 1,000's.

Is this able to be done outside of TB? or were you just using TB to test? I'm interested in the Nebraska all white pants like the Tennessee photo above.

Would it be as "simple" as changing to NC State's home pants?

I haven't been able to get regular teams to appear on the Uniforms tab (yet).

Basically you create a teambuilder team just as a "uniform place holder."

I renamed them to 'Custom Team' and made sure their stats are all terrible so they would never appear in top 25 or anything like that.

you set the uniform for that TB team to be what you want:
Nebraska Helmet 659
Red Jersey 168
White Jersey 169
White Pants 884
Red Pants 885

you go to the teams tab and in the column for 'stadium' that will show NEBRAS ; switch it to CASXXX. Basically you are telling the game to look for Nebraska on the Uniforms tab to obtain uniforms.

on the uniforms tab, change the team ID from 'Custom Team' using the dropdowns and select Nebraska for both. This will give Nebraska updated uniforms without messing up anything (stadium, crowd size, wins/losses, championships/ ratings, rosters, nothing. Only the uniform will be swapped out.

If you were to leave Nebraska and go to another team, put NEBRAS back into the stadium column and you can update/change uni's for your new team using that same 'placeholder' team.

Still working to see if you can get team color cleats on TB teams.
