Two things i hate

First off, i love this game and believe it is great. But, there are two things that i can not stand about the game.

1. They add the rotating conference schedules, but they rotate to much. I know in the Big 12, (after a yr or 2 in the dynasty anyway) a conference team ends up playing 9 games as opposed to the 8 played by the rest of the conference. After years of begging for this, we get it and hopefully next year it will be correct.

2. Customizing the schedule is awful this year. I know that 2 years down the road in the dynasty with Mississippi State, i end up playing some no name after the annual match up with Ole Miss. The last thing a team wants to do is to beat a rival and then turn around and play tallapoosa tech.

Oh well, i am still having a great time with the game, but i had to find something about it that i dont like.

The only thing I hate is controlling a DL at the snap, which is what I've been doing in football games as long as I remember. But in NCAA 05, 1 out of every 3 plays he falls down. That sucks.

Anyways, I hate how the computer is able to guess your play. For example, I run on first down. I use the same formation for 2nd down only its a PA to my slot receiver. But the computer realizes this and lines up with 6 DBs, what the crap ? If I was running the ball they'd be crap outta luck and I get atleast 8 yards. So realizing this, I audible. But they audible as well. Its impossible to outsmart the computer 90% of the time. They know what side you're running to(even when you line up under center with 4 WRs and a RB) and if you audible, they audible. I thought audibles were put in the game so you could change your play according to what formation the D lines up in ? That really pisses me off.*steps down from soapbox*

I find that this happens to me as well, but what helps on run plays where they shift to one side or the other is being able to flip the play without flipping the formation.

I.e. if I am running a counter to the right out of the I-formation and the d-line and lb shift over to cover it, you flip the play (hot route and then left thumbstick to the left) without changing your formation.

This works quite well I have found.

Don't hit the speedburst button. Make a spin move with the L button. If you speedburst right off the ball, he falls down.

There's nothing you can do about it sometimes. When you try to drop a certain team, it says that they can't go below 11 games. This is horrible after playing against Michigan as Ohio State, it's a huge letdown to play anybody else. Does anyone know if this can be changed?

As is said above, learn to not use speed burst as soon as the ball is snapped and this will become a non-issue for you.
