Defensive Scheme with Low Star Programs

So been using JKits Heisman Sliders, I'm starting off as San Jose State. My offense is actually not awful, but defense is literally not existence. I choose to run 3-4 cause my DTs are pretty bad but I gave up 69 to Cal and Like 49 to Stanford. Granted I should be getting beat I'm like 75 ovr team they are like 80-90 ovr. But would like to least play a little better defense lol. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Don't base 3-4 against 3 to 5 WRs. 4-2-5 pretty much rules the roots with pass heavy teams. I play cover 2 man all day against no huddle pass heavy teams. Both safteys always in deep blue shades. O ly way to go unless you can pull off blitzing, and you probably don't have that speed yet.
