Do you use skill trees or not?

I'm a bit torn on this. I don't think I would max them out but no not use any at all seems like it puts the user at a hell of a disadvantage. Maybe cap it at 22 or something?

Re: Do you use skill trees or not?

I have had dynasties where I only use it on recruiting but more recently I haven't used it at all. Seems like it just overmatches the CPU

Re: Do you use skill trees or not?

Like the poster above I only use it for recruiting purposes. I'm 99.9% CPU vs. CPU and because I edit my rosters outside of the scale of 40-99...it pretty much eliminates the need for the skill tree.

I posted a thread about turning the fatigue rating off about 6 years ago in the slider section. Since that time I have not limited myself in any way.

Re: Do you use skill trees or not?

I allow myself the same advantages the CPU does, and CPU uses the tree, so I do as well.

How does that go? Seems like it would throw off a lot of the realism.

In theory yes. However, it's been observed by many that the CPU players fatigue much quicker than the User players which explains why the CPU tends to always die in the second half.

Here's one of the threads that discussed it if you want more info:

You'd think so, but it actually results in way more positives with the only negative being no subbing, but with formation subs for your guys (and the CPU if you care to do them) rotation is fine.
