I think it will be much more popular then before. You have the long wait, gaming being more popular, bigger promotion, streams etc. We already seen what type of numbers this series can pull. The guy from Barstool was doing numbers and had that game trending nightly start of quarantine lol.

I can honestly see EA copying and pasting Madden 21, with the dynasty mode and Ultimate Team of NCAA 14, and calling it good.

The sad part is that will still sell like crazy. Then we are back into the same loop with EA sports that we’ve been in for a decade.

Yes, this may be a hot take, but this game will be the best selling football game of all time, topping all Madden games ever made. Not having the game this long has done nothing but drive up the hype and anticipation for it. So when it finally does release people will flock to the stores to buy it.

I'm one of the few sports gamers that would play a football game with generic players, as long as there's some sort of decent franchise mode...pro or college. For college specifically, I don't think most care about the players at all.

That would be pretty impressive. I don't think NCAA ever really sold much past 1.5 million copies or so. I think Madden routinely gets around double digits in the millions, so that would be huge for CFB to get those numbers.
