Offense and defensive in game adjustments

Hello,

I was wondering what are your in game adjustments for offense and defense. Wondering if you base your adjustments on personal preference or offensive/defensive playbook.

For example I'm attempting to run a new england patriots-style offensive playbook, but can't seem to find the right adjustments. Same with the tampa 2 defensive playbook

Defensively, the only adjustment I decide to make prior to going into a game is whether or not I am going to spy the QB every play.

After that, I trial and error throughout.

Offensively, I just do my thing. Try and run it down their throat and catch them with the play action. If they have an X-Factor in the defensive line, I will double them every single play, even if the play is going away from them.

I will motion a tightend if I see zone and that there may be a hole because of a potential blitz.

I meant to say offensive and defensive adjustments in terms of aggressive, conservative, and balanced. There is section during the game where you can make blocking, catching, ball carrying/running, and tempo adjustments with the three selections above. Sorry if I wasn't clear.
