Mods for FIFA 17 died?

Hello people!

Been some years since I last logged in here. Been some years since I played FIFA too. But...

FIFA 17 is coming to EA access next week and I'm wondering if I should get it on Origin or XONE.

The only reason I would get on Origin is if there are mods. Especially for Career Mode.

But I've read on the internet that mods this year are dead. Is that real? Frostbite is so tough that mods aren't available for FIFA 17? Mods like new leagues, stadiums, better champions league, scoreboards, all that usual ****?

Yeah it's true. The new engine has the modding community by the balls. Cheat Engine is good for a few things (i.e. revealing player stats) but nothing involving dbs.
