FIFA 21 next gen showing up as a trial

I have the digital version of FIFA 21 and for some reason the next gen upgrade is showing up as a trial. I basically have two versions on my xbox series x. has anyone else come across this?

I have the same issue going on except I'm not even able to play it because it says I don't own the rights. Digital on Xbox Series S.

Yes, it is happening to a lot of people including me with no answers on how to solve the problem.

Any idea to resolve this issue? I can only download the damn trail. Got digital version

I bought the ps4 version of madden and when i go to get the "free next gen upgrade" ,it keeps downloading the trial,extremely frustrating.

not sure if any of the previous posters have received the resolution, but xbox live ended up emailing me with a code.

I bought the standard version digital from best buy - I applied it and could download the xbox one version. Once series X came out, they no longer had the standard version in the store. And you can't "get" the SX version standalone because it is only part of a bundle, and the one I bought (standard) was not in the store (only beckham, champions, ultimate, etc). It took them like two weeks, but then they eventually messaged me with a code to unlock the series X version.
