I have a Samsung 40" full HD 1080p TV which indicates whenever a PS3 game is loaded its resolution. When FIFA 09 started up, the resolution flashed on the screen "1920 x 1080". On every other prior EA Sports game, the resolution was 1280 x 720. So what's on the back of the box (720p max resolution) is wrong.

49 stadiums, real and fantasy? Not too bad at all.

So FIFA on is only 720p on the PS3 box? I downloaded the demo, and the demo plays for me in 1080p. I havent bought the game yet, but you're saying the actual game is less than thaT?
