weather/time of day manager mode?

i am certain this has been discussed, but here are my experiences.

weather - always california-esque in my MM. clear skies, warm...

time of day - this is odd... my first champions league (ECC) game in year 2 of my arsenal MM was at night. subsequent games were at night (even EPL), but now none... odd.

what are you guys experiencing?

I heard you can play in the rain this year but don't know how

I can make weather overcast but then it's only cloudy and still no rain

I would say about 70% of my games are at night.

^ including Champions League games?

In my EPL with Newcastle, half my games were at night, including those played on a Saturday (most of them were on the weekend). Wasn't in the ECC or EFA either.

In my Championship BAP Seasons with Crystal Palace, i'd say 80% of my games have been during the day. Which is great not only from an authencity standpoint, but also because the lighting in night games is generally quite poor IMO.

Re: weather/time of day manager mode?

If I remember correctly, EA stated that since all stadiums are not rendered for night games, they made all ECC/EFA games day games since you could conceivably play in any stadium in the game. I understand the dilemma, as it takes quite a bit of time to do each stadium, but why couldn't games at stadiums that are equipped for night games at least be at night? Not really a big deal, but it definitely knocks the authenticity down a notch...

Re: weather/time of day manager mode?

In my manager mode with Chelsea, I am in season 2 and I still do not think I have seen a game with actual rain falling. Lots of overcast days but no actual rain coming down? Weird..... Euro 2008 was great for rain
