what exactly does that entail?

I ask because my brother and I would love to play online with each other against the computer. Growing up we always played games on the same team. But now we live hundreds of miles away and I'm wondering if we'll be able to jump online and play exhibition, manager or tournament modes on the same team against the CPU.
