To be honest, I'm not sure there's really anything we need to do to fix MLS. Everything is pretty much spot on, tactics-wise.
So the custom default tactics are pretty good, thats cool. I thought about just adjust defensive custom tactics; but globally, to help defense just standing around.

Good to know. What about set piece takers/captains?

I used this site listed earlier for all formations, and most current lineups, has all you need.

Good site. Especially considering who is the MLS "caretaker".

For MLS, check out this page specificially: http://www.football-lineups.com/tour...e_Soccer_2009/

What can we do with tactics if anything, defense stands around like dummy's??? Just played Seattle agains Houston. When Houston attacked, only pressure was from me trying to give it manually, other guys idiots. Is this fixable? Very frustrated, please help.

It looks like this guy's site (from EA boards) is currently the most up to date. At least as far as EPL tactics go. It's little nicer to look at too, FWIW. I think that thread over there has spawned 3 different tactics web sites now, lol. They all look like they have basically the same tactics, all compiled from the people on the original thread.

I'm just waiting for the next update from EA and then I'm going to give some of these custom tactics a try before I get my MM going. Is anyone trying these out yet? If so, how are they working out?

They seem to be pretty good. I've used a couple and the results have been good. With regard to the custom formations, they are right on. The tactics are good too, but I'm not sure I would be able to tell the difference.

They need to make some generic tactics (relegation teams, mid-table teams, euro hopeful teams) since you can only have 28 or so slots for 200 or so teams. Bluchampblogger had a nice set for '09.
