Weigh In: Semi vs. Manual

I also finally just made the switch from semi to all manual, and while it's insanely frustrating, it's just as fun. Scoring a goal, or setting up an amazing chance is so thrilling. Really nothing quite like it I've experienced in terms of sports games, and definitely not in any previous FIFA games.

I'm slowly switching to manual settings after playing on semi for so long. Right now, I only have passing on manual to ease my way into it. I have played shooting on manual in FIFA 09 but I found it hard as hell to shoot. What camera view do you guys use? It's pretty hard to aim using manual shooting using the TELE cam.

a tip for those new to manual passing... start on overcast dry setting... you'll need a bit more power in each pass but overall... the ball will move slower.

I mostly play online against friends. Since none of them used manual settings, I didn't mess with it too much. Another one of my boys picked it up yesterday and I told him to start off on manual. We ran a game online and it was a blast. Passing was definitely a bit tougher, but I enjoyed it that way. When you play on other settings it almost feels too easy, like you're passing a basketball around.
