Demo vs. Retail

Wondering if the Retail version differs much from the Demo?

From my observations, when comparing the FIFA 10 demo to last
year's retail '09, the ball physics are much improved, with much more
spin on both shots and passes. The 360 control is better than the
8 directional movement however I find it's not leaps and bounds,
unless I am mistaken?

I am curious about the Double Team, seems I can double team at a
relentless pace in the Demo, seems unchanged from last year's game.
Also attackers are still easily knocked down by defenders. Do we still
have the domino effect here? Also fatigue seems unchanged. There
is little effect having your guys run wild all over the field, correct?

Thoughts?

Re: Demo vs. Retail

i didnt play the demo but i did play the retail of both FIFA 09 and 10 and i can say its leaps and bounds better and is def a must buy for any soccer fan. Fatigue has change and it does effect play especially late in the game. if you make a sub you can tell a difference in the sub and who has played the entire game. This game is the best sim soccer game IMO ever. I hope that helps

Re: Demo vs. Retail

What about build-up play from the AI in offline matches? Does Real
Madrid for example pass across the pitch, pass back, bring the
midfield players up, even the CB up --- is there build-up period?

Re: Demo vs. Retail

If you're asking if the AI gameplay is different from the last couple of years, no. The refinements are in User player movement, along with gameplay tweaks such as the improved shooting mechanic. If you've played their NHL series, exact same deal -- same game, same AI issues, but with some very noticable and needed User gameplay improvements. If that's enough for you, then FIFA 10 is worth the purchase.

Re: Demo vs. Retail

IMO the AI gameplay is alot different then 09. They actually play more like a real soccer game. Each team has a different feel to them. Its harder then 09 hands down. 09 was to arcady to me and was too easy to score.
