Re: Is it the right time to start a MM?

Is this any different than from FIFA09? I have never actually looked into it, but, do all of the lower level teams have different tactics (in FIFA09)? I have played two 5-year MM careers (both with lower level teams) in FIFA09 - and I have found it to be pretty good.

Just wondering how much an effect this will be in FIFA10.

I agree with the above poster. Even if EA updates, who knows how good it will be. This guide I ran across might help make updating the tactics easier. http://www.halln.co.uk/fifa/understa...tomtactics.htm

No prob. Another tip I ran across is to use the 10 custom tactics in that document and then use the remaining 18 custom tactic slots for the top clubs (Barca, Man U, etc.). That way you see some variety in the leagues and the top teams behave as they should. It's a nice mix and doesn't seem to be as time consuming as it could be. My plan is to do this over the next few days and start up my MM afterwards.

Whoever wrote that document is one thorough FIFA gamer. They nailed every aspect of Custom Tactics down pat. Awesome find Hooligan.

As soon as the squad update comes out, I can finally start my Morecambe MM, but for the time being I've enjoyed bringing Duisberg into the Bundesliga and Champions League/ECC.

Re: Is it the right time to start a MM?

Last night I finally had a chance to customize the tactics, and to be honest, most of the leagues are reasonable in their default tactics. I know some people will disagree, but I'm not hardcore enough to tell the difference if one of the sliders is 5 notches different.

All I did was use the above guide to update the English leagues, and then started my MM. It took me like 20 min max and now I could care less when the EA update comes out (if ever).
