Re: Questions for MM (Not Complaints!)
Good reply, I'll try to add some more (also relatively new):
"Cheating" - I don't consider it cheating to use one Virtual Pro on your team, even if he's pretty good. The game is designed to develop your Pro across ALL game modes, and a lot of people spend the majority of their time in MM, so it makes sense. I don't think his position will change if you alter that outside of MM, but I do think his attributes will. My guy went from a 69 to 70, and I'm pretty sure that was reflected in MM. Plus, this is a single player mode, so you determine how you want to play anyway. A lot of people play on Semi-Pro when they should be at a higher level, but if you enjoy playing a video game where you practically never lose, why shouldn't you be able to do that? Not for me, but I won't stop anyone else.
My Virtual Pro isn't really good enough to start on my team, but it is nice to have him for some depth, since it can be pretty hard to sign anyone with the crappier teams.
Team choice - The game is basically designed to make it harder to stay employed at the better teams anyway. I started with Tottenham, and they fired me within 15 games. Now I'm with Wolverhampton, and my goals are basically "Don't get relegated". So, even though Wolverhampton is a much less-skilled team, I find that I'm going to have bad losses from now and then, regardless of the skill of my team. So it's not cheating to take on one of the elite clubs, because it could be over for you in a hurry if you slip up.
