    Re: Scouting tips??

I have found a few good defenders in Europe. The people you find are random, and I think the overall of the scouted players is all set up by your scouts level. I am currently searching Africa for Str, but I have not found anyone worth signing for my current team. I also prefer midfielders form the Americas because you get some South American talent that has some great touch.

Thanks....My first season was successful....too successful actually. I got 5th in league 2 and I am way out classed in League 1.

I guess I have to buy some players now....

I'm surprised by the sheer volume of players your scout finds. Playing on a team where most of my top players are in the low-70's anyway, my scout routinely finds 18-21 kids rated 62-72. Most of them have serious issues with strength and aggression, but the other aspects of their game (like speed) are pretty strong.

I've signed almost all of them b/c I was having trouble with transfers and needed more players. But I figure I can sell a few of them later if I need the roster space anyway. Some of them were worth more than $1 million (b/c of potential) right off the bat.

I'd like to see a better pool in Africa. I haven't run into any great African strikers yet

Woah!! I just found an 87 OVRL CM! He's only 19 too! Should boost my team....which is WAY better than the rest of League 1 now. If I only had the skills to actually win now. I'm still playing on Semi-Pro and I'm still struggling to score goals. Luckily I'm good at not allowing goals.

That's awesome! I assume since my scout is only a 5 out of 10 and my team is pretty average that I won't find anyone like that, but it's pretty cool to hear that they're out there.

Normally I find guys that are between 70-80....I was pretty shocked.

I found that Asia/Oceania is worthless. I've found a couple of decent STR in South America.....But Europe has obviously been hands down the best.

Coca-Cola League One in England or Ligue Un in France? Either way, I'd be tempted to sell that wunderkind next transfer window and re-invest that money in multiple players and staff upgrades. What's his transfer value? It's got to be a pretty penny with that OVR and age...

I found a 78ovr ST from England named Medy Butcher. He's about 6'3 and strong as a bull but he is very slow for a top flight league. I'm looking to move him and do what Q is doing, invest the cash in some young CBs but he scores every time he gets a chance.

Transfer price is $10,800,000 for him.

I am with Aldershot Town in England. I won Coca-Cola League One rather handily (found him about 30 games into the season). I've continued building my team almost all from scouting. I have 10 guys that are over 80. Youngest is 18....oldest is 25.

I think I have a good shot at winning the Championship League in my first season there. I'm fighting with Swansea City and and Burnley for the title. Was killed by Chelsea in the 5th round of the FA Cup though.

To be honest....I don't know a whole lot about soccer and I'm playing the game on Semi-Pro....I'm about to bump it up to pro though. I just recently bumped the game to a 7 min half. 5 min had everything go by so fast.

Huh, that seems low, but maybe it has something to do with your team/league. I'd hold on to him and see what happens. Good luck in winning the league...
