Re: FIFA has made me interested in soccer

I've always been a fan of soccer as I grew up playing it. I was a casual follower....then the Sounders came to town and I've been hooked ever since. After watching a Sounders game I drove over to a game store to pick up FIFA 09. The footie fever has gotten worse ever since. Bought NCAA 10 and played it for about a month before I was back to FIFA 09.

FIFA 10 is the first game playing online that I still enjoy, even if we are losing. Great game.

Don't really have a favorite EPL team. I used to love Man U. Then I realized I liked them because they were the only team I really knew existed growing up. There are so many awesome teams/fans/players that I really just love watching the league, not necessarily one team.

Can't wait for the MLS to get started again. March 25 can't come soon enough. The Sounders taking on the new expansion team in Philly.

After watching the world cup in 06 i was interested in soccer, never bought a fifa game until this year. And now im interested in the sport as well, but being from Iowa all I have is the hawkeyes the nearest pro team is either chicago or kansas city so it is hard to follow soccer. Dont really have a favorite team but Maxi Rodriguez is my favorite player.

Looking forward to MLS this year too. I got tickets for the Home Opener in the Red Bulls new arena so can't wait for that. Also, they had a deal where it was 2 for 1 and the other game is vs. Santos the week before so maybe I will get to see Robinho too

Man I'm trying. I loove the Be a Pro mode but really wanted to play regular too and well..... I suck controlling everyone. I simply need a ton of practice i guess. Any pointers on what I should do to get better at the game..?

Playing this game has definitely made me become a fan. I am one of the ones who was always interested in soccer too but just didn't understand the game. I have become a big fan of Chelsea and Didier Drogba.

I started to really like it back with FIFA 95 on the Genisis. but, as others have stated I lose interest w/o a team to root for. I am getting into soccer again w/ the world cup again.

Yep, EA's titles have made me love the sport. Did not like it before.

It started way back when they put out one of the World Cup games in the 90's. Then i got their World Cup every year. But I was only in WC.

Then I figured if I enjoyed it that much, why not get regular FIFA. 08 was my first and havent looked back since. And now I love watching any soccer.
