Europa League Qualifiers?

Just curious who the game uses as qualifiers. Won the Coca-Cola Championship in my first year and looking at the schedule, I see no Europa League games and I'm not in any of the groups (although there are a lot of TBDs).

Anyone know if this is right? Thought the CC Champion got an invite.

Re: Europa League Qualifiers?

As far as I know, not true at all.

In the EPL, places 5-6 qualify I believe. Also, the winner of the FA Cup.

However, that could all be wrong.

Re: Europa League Qualifiers?

From England, Europa League qualifying is as follows:

The fifth-placed team is automatically in.
The winners of the Carling Cup and FA Cup are in.
If the Carling Cup or FA Cup winner has already qualified for Europe due to their league position (top 5), the sixth-placed team is in.
If both the Carling Cup and FA Cup winners have already qualified for Europe due to their league position (top 6), the seventh-placed team is in.
In addition, if the Premier League is in the top 3 of the FIFA FairPlay rankings, they are awarded a 4th spot in the Europa League, which goes to the next eligible team (the 6th, 7th, or 8th-placed team depending on Cup winners).

The winner of the Championship does not get in unless they win one of the cups.

Hope that didn't make your head explode.

Re: Europa League Qualifiers?

Dumb question but hopefully someone will explain...

I finished second in La Liga with Barca. After the season, nothing happened. I thought I would have qualified for some tournament? ANyone know what I did wrong?

You should now be in the ECC, in game equivalent of the Champions League.
