FIFA10 freezes at the completion of a game ...

Am I boned?

I have played my MM game three times now.

I am always able to finish the game, but, during the "postgame" highlight stuff, usually right before the man-of-the-match screen is ready to come up, FIFA10 freezes up on me.

Is there anything I can do about this?

I am unable to advance forward in my MM dynasty ...

Try turning off Auto Save

... and then I just need to remember to manually save at the end of each gaming session?

Nope - I do not think that worked.

I have played the same game 4 times.

The game always finishes.

The post-game goal highlights are shown.

And then the X360/FIFA10 freezes before the MOTM screen is shown.

Each time ...

I need some help please!

I think my X360 is OK - I have no trouble playing Forza3 ...

I have a similar problem with FIFA10 -- freezes at both the halftime & postgame highlights. For me it's pretty random and I haven't encountered a game I seemingly can't get through like you're stuck with now. Although, I did have my cup final freeze twice in a row, but luckily the 3rd time was the charm (1W, 1L in the other two so all's fair, right?).

I play without autosave, but I'm not sure if it makes a difference. I also play with the game on the HDD. I worry about my 360's disc drive, so I'm reluctant to play from the disc, but perhaps you should try it if you're also playing from the hard drive...

I played one exhibition game - that worked OK.

I made a back-up file of my MM career - and then I simmed the "trouble" game in the back-up file. That also worked OK.

Then I went back to my original MM career and played out the "trouble" game. And this time it worked.

I have no idea what exactly fixed the problem (or if the problem is actually fixed) but it does seem like I can now move on with my MM.

I did all of these events with autosave = off.
