VP Unlockable Celebrations

So I have been working on accomplishing all of the finishing celebrations with my VP to unlock celebrations 3 & 4. I have now successfully done all of them, except for one. Acrobatics 3 (R1 + RS down, up, down, x) is the bane of my existence. Whenever I try to do it, it either does a running celebration or it skips the celebration.

Can somebody please help me out here?

I have now attempted doing the Acrobatics 3 celebration probably 9-10 times, and it still never works. I've tried doing the "down up down x" quickly, I've tried doing it slowly. Some of the times I know that I've hit the LS after my goal, maybe causing a running celebration. But for the last 6 or 7 goals I've scored, all I press is R1 and then the combination. But for the most part, it skips the celebration before I can even finish.

THIS IS SO INSANELY FRUSTRATING.

I can only offer my sympathy. there are all these cool celebrations (i have seen them on youtube dammit!)...and I have a hell of a time with them as well. I feel like I am back in the days of mortal kombat where my finishing move ends up being a leg sweep or love tap in the face

Well that's pretty frustrating to hear that it's happening to others. Is there anyone who knows how to fix this problem? Attempting to finish/unlock all the VP accomplishments is what is keeping me going in my BAP mode, so this is rather unfortunate.
