Why are there two sets of rules?

Listen, we all know that the EA guys are lazy ... they release a buggy game without even testing it ... but, seriously, why would they bother to go through all of the effort to write two sets of foul code - one for the CPU team and another for the human team.

How many times does one of my players need to get ran over before there is ever a foul called? And when will the ref ever give the CPU a red card. C'mon! But it is not just the case that no fouls are called ... candy-flavored whistles abound when I am making a tackle. It is really like there are two different sets of rule.

What kind of BS is that? Really!?!

And one other thing (while I am in rant mode) ... why is it that I see this type of box score so often ...

CPU / Shots on Target = 2 / Goals = 2
Human / Shots on Target = 8 / Goals = 1

Could we try to be a little more honest here? Please?

Maybe it's just your game. Mine has a really nice balance. I get called for fouls when I foul, the opponent as well. And same with cards. I've never had a problem with it.

Have the same problem. The CPU mauls my players at will, and I'll make a clean tackle, and get called immediately. Happens so often.

Re: Why are there two sets of rules?

CPU can get away with any tackle as long as they touch the ball at some point n time which would be fine with me if they aloud the human user the same privledge. I have slid in from behind the CPU and made contact with the ball and STILL got a card for it. Me not knowing a lot about soccer I figured its just against the rules to slide in from behind... but then I see the CPU doing this to me and they get away with it. Its BS.

In moving up to World Class from Pro, the fouls have been the most frustrating transition. Does anyone draw more fouls from the CPU by shielding?

Re: Why are there two sets of rules?

CPU rarely gets called or booked when I play. It is probably the most frustrating aspect of the game for me. I truly think that is the devs way of making the game more "difficult" instead of trying to code a better AI on the higher levels, which I think is the case with most games. Give the cpu some boosts/cheats to make it seem harder. Sucks but "it is what it is".
