Sorry about being a newbie, but how is the lag when playing online

I really don't need another addiction, but after consistently hearing about this game, it has made me think about getting it. I haven't played fifa since my sega genisis days. I know that's forever, but I did enjoy it. The game as a whole looks complicated, especially the controls. I did play the demo, and did like the small sample. I would play most game's online and that's why I was wondering about the online lag, also what game play options are there online. thanks

on and off..the good thing is they tell you the latency before the match..so if its 1 red bar you can just easily back out

Maybe it's me but I don't find it too laggy, however I keep getting disconnected during matches

The indicator is not a foolproof tool. Inherent lag during gameplay typically creeps in as network congestion patterns change.

To answer the OP, I've had exceptional results with my online matches.
