FIFA 10 scouting question

Is there any rhyme or reason to this

sometimes I will scout in americas or europe and a player will return after two games, but sometimes I 'll scout for several weeks and africa and no player will return even when the scout returns from his trip


anyways since a lot of you have played manager mode already, is this a bug, and if so are there any work arounds

I think it depends on the level of your scout.

My scout was like a 2/10 and discovered no players in the Americas but once I improved him he always brings back players.

The quailty of your scout like Cotton said as well as what type of search and what positions you are looking for determine how often and the overall of the players your scout will find.
